In honor of Saint Patrick’s day, I’m sharing some music I shared before, a partial setting of the hymn known as Saint Patrick’s Breastplate.
I say ‘partial’ because this hymn traditionally has two parts: this is the music for part one; I hope to post the music for part two next week.
I used to play this piece, back in the day. I love Mike’s rendition.

This is the piano accompaniment for a liturgical song I call Mystery of Faith. The piano is about as simple as it can be (never are there more than 2 notes playing at the same time), but I think it stands reasonably well on its own. If it were sung, the lyrics would be
