Lamb of God (sung version)

Lamb of God
You take away the sins of the world;
Have mercy on us.

Lamb of God
You take away the sins of the world;
Have mercy on us.

Lamb of God
You take away the sins of the world;
Grant us your peace.

For this poor world and for us poor souls: may it be.

This is the vocal setting, recorded live on my phone in a service at All Saints church in July 2017, of a piano version I posted some time back (link here).  The background sounds are of people coming forward to receive communion and of the servers distributing it.  (And, of course, of children doing what children do.)

I took the photos after a Maundy Thursday service in April 2015.

Thanks to Wen Reagan and the musicians at All Saints for their taking my sketch of an idea and bringing it to life for others to hear.
